Cost and Logistics

Cost: 850 Euros for the two-week LFTP summer school.

Note: Learning From the Past participants are responsible for their own travel plans. Cost of airfare and travel to and from Sarajevo, BiH is not included in the LFTP fee.

The LFTP Summer School is a not-for-profit social enterprise with the goal to enable young people to fulfill their academic potential and make an active contribution to academia and civil society. Our relationship with the participants is incredibly important to us.

Payment is required for each individual.
Enrollment fee is due within ten days after the receipt of your invoice from the LFTP Summer School and Mirovna Akademija (The Peace Academy), LFTP's partner organization. The place of any participant is not guaranteed until payment is received. *Keep in mind that we have a limited number of places available!*

 

*Participants are responsible for their own travel to and from Bosnia & Herzegovina, including obtaining a Visa, if required by citizens with your passport. Many passport holders are able to enter BiH for 90 days without a Visa (verify online or check with your local embassy). However, for those passport holders that require a Visa to travel to Bosnia & Hercegovina, participants must apply for a tourist Visa. The LFTP summer school cannot provide Visa support documentation at this time.

*Participants should have their own health insurance coverage. The organizers do not provide health coverage or insurance to students.

LFTP Participant Arrival: 7 July 2019

Participants must arrive in Sarajevo, whether by bus or flight, by Sunday, July 7. Accommodation is included in your LFTP fee for the night of July 7 and participants will be provided with instructions to reach their lodging upon acceptance. 

LFTP Participant Departure: 21 July 2019

Participants may book flights out of the Sarajevo International Airport on Sunday, 21 July at their convenince. The summer school will finish the previous evening, provide accommodation for students on the night of Saturday, July 20, and then participants may arrange their travel plans as early as required on 21 July.
